Fertilizing your tall fescue lawn in the fall is a must!
September and October are the ideal months for fertilizing and helping the established lawn grow deeper roots for next season.
There is still time to get a quality fertilizer, one with a high water insoluble nitrogen (WIN) content. You'll want to apply (on average) one pound of nitrogen for 1000 square feet of lawn size.
